By quiet, do you mean road noise is reduced? Can you compare it to the road noise in the EX or EX-L?

We have 3 kids between the ages of 4 and 9. Long story but minivans / SUV feel too big for me (I drive a sedan with 3 in the back row) so these were/are DH cars. He is happy with the change. My only complaint is that the Atlas is not a minivan. We don’t have captain seats so the kids have to move the middle row to get in back - but I understand you might be able to get captain seats in an Atlas. I think I might have preferred that.
P.S. but I like that it seats 7 and we have 3 seats in the middle row and 2 in back. Idk if you have to give up a seat in the middle if you get captain seats.

Went from a Sienna to a Honda Pilot. So much easier to drive and park. BUT it has way less cargo space and sometimes I miss the sliding doors. I’m easily able to transport 5 kids (6 with front seat).

Neighbors/friends traded their 20-yr-old Odyssey for a brand new CRV- and quickly returned the CRV and got a brand new Odyssey. They hated the CRV. They love the mini van

NP here - following this thread. We do go on 7+ hour road trips a few times a year and am curious about legroom and cargo space for family of four and a dog and am wondering if there's any suitable replacement...

We traded my minivan (Toyota sienna) in for a loaded Subaru Legacy that my husband uses for commuting. Now I drive his old car, a Subaru Outback. The Outback is much better to drive than the minivan was. It’s easier to back in too, which I have to do at least 3 times a day to get into my driveway. I really wanted the Tesla, but my husband liked the Legacy better.

DH drove the minivan and now has a Tesla. He is less helpful in sports carpools than he use to be, but the kids don't care.
