I appreciated that the band showed their ugly side in this. They did some really bad crap. I mean, Razzle’s death alone.

But I also didn’t know Nikki’s entire back story. Really interesting. They condense the timeline of events, which I get in order to fit into 90 minutes, but they were really accurate with visuals. Well cast and overall fun (even with the deaths and drugs).

I didn't realize the band produced the show. Can you imagine? This was probably the best spin on their antics.

I actually came away liking the guys personally more. They were just some dopey guys who wanted "sex, drugs, and rock and roll." They wanted to be with as many girls as they could. They were not apologetic about it. They did a lot of harmful things, for sure.

I did not realize Tommy was from such a Cleaver family or he was such a "romantic." Did not realize Locklear was his "one that got away" and was surprised on the focus on her.

Vince Neil's daughter's story was heartbreaking. I'm not sure I remember or knew about that. He seems like kind of decent guy, esp once he got sober. And yes, I realize he killed someone but he seemed and seems generally contrite, shameful, etc.

Nikki Sixx - didn't realize all he overcame in his home life.

Mick Mars - I vaguely remember he had some health problems. But was impressed how he persisted beyond those.

I mean, it's not some oscar worthy movie. But it was entertaining.

I didn't think it was good. It was so surface and just hit a couple of high points.

The book is much better than the movie.

There’s a decent podcast episode on “Disgraceland” about the band so I started watching the movie but haven’t finished yet. I was never a fan but I find the lifestyle very interesting. Craziness!
