If that is the true site i'm completely bummed. This county HAS TO improve the offerings. For K we have #185 for Spanish Immersion and #84 for French Immersion.

Just post the address, people! don’t be all “you can search the forum.”

The 2018-2019 site said my child didn’t qualify. I don’t know what that means because I know that they did. I hope it was a just a fluke.

I just went to last years site and entered my child's number and it came up with a waitlist number for the school we applied to and her student number. I have zero idea if it is accurate but you can check it out if you are like me and way to impatient to wait. You can find the address by searching this forum.

There is a website where you will be able to go and enter your application number. It will give you the results. You will get a placement letter or notification of waitlist number a week or so later.
The Charter one is live.

Yes there is a separate one.

DCPS is also 1/3 the size of PGCPS.

In 2017 the online system was updated on 3/23
In 2018 the online system was up on 3/27

I would guess they might post on Monday. Posting on a Friday wouldn't be a great idea...but then again, PGCPS.

I totally agree but part of it is that they need to check the TAG eligibility for kids who are applying for those programs. They also have to look at kids who get spots at different schools and then make the changes to the lists accordingly. They also have to deal with Sibling Preference.

I played around with the numbers last year and there were 4800 lottery applications and some of those had multiple applications for multiple kids. The lottery application numbers seem to be sequential and I went to the look up page and changed the last 4 digits of the application until I got a "no application with that number" message.

I agree that it should be automated but automation often makes mistakes and no one wants incorrect lottery numbers to be released.

To add.....I am also going out of my mind waiting for the results!
