Oh my goodness yes. My son is almost 4 and he still sleeps with his and has one at daycare for naptime. We have 4 of the same one and rotate through.

I always thought a livery was just whatever you kid decided was their comfort item, whether it was a regular stuffed animal, a washcloth, a shoe, whatever.

Both my kids have 2 things they’ve slept with since they were babies-1 regular stuffed animal and one blanket animal. They’re now 4 and 7. The 7yo sleeps with a bed full of stuffed animals now, but she has to have her main two every night still.

Loveys are not usually intentional on the parents part. They are usually a stuffed toy or blanket the child becomes attached to on their own. My now 6yo has one she sleeps with. When she was younger it came in the cwr and sometimes stroller. It was just something i put in the crib just hrfore she was a year old that then turned into her lovey. And yes its a blanket/animal combo.

My 2.5yo pretends hers is a blanket for other small toys. She's far more attached to other stuffed animals.

Only my 5 year old but it’s not a traditional lovey, she did use one of those until she was 2 but then became more attached to one of the other baby blankets she had also been using. The satin trim gradually detached until it fell off and now she sleeps with a strip of the satin trim. She calls it her “Kiki”.

I hand a girl obsessed with her lovey from 15 months to 5. After that used at night to help fall asleep and when upset. Took until about 9 when that stopped.

Know a almost 11 boy who took his many days to elementary school and still uses it at home.

My older child never likes them. However, trying to wean my just turned 4yo off of hers. She chews it and it’s gross! She’s super attached to it. Wish I could turn back time.

My son! Only because he chews on them when teething though. They stink because of saliva so we have 4. Not sure he would even notice if we removed them though.

We got tons of those loveys and those little tag blankets. My kid never took any interest in either.

Nope. Never liked any of the 3 we had. As a preschooler she enjoys putting the blanket part on her head and other stuffed animals heads.

Is this a real question? No, nobody's kids use loveys. Do you believe me?

We have so many loveys and my kids seem to get more every Christmas and birthday. Why?! Does anyone actually like these? My 3 year old likes to sleep with a baby doll and likes playing pretend with stuffed animals. She’s never used a lovey and I had one in her bed for a few years. My DS hates his loveys too but he’s 10 months old. Kids I know don’t seem to like loveys either

Loveys are like this worthless hybrid of a blanket (useful) and a stuffed animal (useful). But the blanket is too small and the stuffed animal has no body to play with, so combined it’s just a waste.
