Folks, its amazing to me what people are spending on these, well, "boxes". They're very, very basic. Which is fine, considering their pedigree, but they are not at all priced that way. If you want a Jeep, get an old one and make it your way (i'm doing this). If you want a modern car with a good ride, good accomodations for driving, and good fuel economy....dont buy any new jeep wrangler.
The only ones who do worse than Jeep on the cost/value chart is Mercedes with the G class truck. The box. Somebody's laughing all the way to the bank with that one.

No, absolutely not but what kind of Wrangler. Big difference between a sport and Rubicon. I would not buy anything older than the 2018 JL - new version. We are going to get the 2020 model. I don't want the first year version. Most people ride their Wranglers hard, so at that kind of mileage I'd be concerned. You can get a new sport for in the 30's but that will not do you much good off road in less you upgrade. I'd only buy a Sahara or Rubicon.

I don't know - when I purchased my Jeep Wrangler in 2013 - the prices for used were amazingly high so we bought new. I think I paid 30K for mine - 4 door Sahara. I remember at the time used with about 50K on them were going for $25K. But, that seems a little high. Want mine? I want a new one

I've owned two wranglers (2011 and a 2006), I was in my 30's FWIW. I wouldn't pay that much for a 2012 with miles that high. Jeep's engines do not have Toyota/Honda longevity in my experience (and I was in a Jeep club for several years so I knew many owners with old Jeeps and how fun that wasn't). Terrible daily driver and for long rides. Lifted my first Jeep and put slightly larger tires on it, that made the ride even worse. Fun to drive of course. Mine were the short wheel base 2 door, and I found them not nearly as good in the snow as my SUV's. Not sure if it was the short wheel base, or what but I would skid out pretty easily (in 4WD) where my Jeep Grand Cherokee would stick to the snowy road like a tank).

I wouldn't. Too high a price for that many miles. Let someone else overpay for their daughter.

The Wrangler is an *awful* daily driver. It is really not good at anything other than going off-road.

Unless you're a 21yo sorority girl or someone who actually uses the capability of the vehicle I'd buy something else.

That seems like a lot for that car! I haven’t checked KBB but no way I’d spend that much on any 2012 with 92k miles.

With 92k miles for $19,900.00. This would be a daily driver. In addition would use for weekend trips ever other weekend, 3 hours each way
