My DD is a mini me. She is a perfect mix of her father and his mother in so many ways. Is that okay to comment on?

I generally try not to say it myself bc I think that’s a little weird but I don’t mind at all when other people say it to me about DD! I like it.

I think its extremely offensive. And body shaming is a form of discrimination, you know.

Nope, never heard this before and we have a lot of friends with multiple kids

You don't have to get it. It's just something that some people say.

It's not worth the effort trying to figure out why people do most of the things they do. Nod, smile, and pour yourself another drink.

I always thought I was better, but at 36, I am totally just like both my parents.

I dont call my daughter this, but other people have called her that, because in many ways she is a smaller version of me, both in looks and personality. She loves it, because she loves me.

I think this is fine when they are pre-schoolers but not when they are older. My 3 year old granddaughter is a clone of her mother....which is a problem her mother will have to deal with!

I have several friends whose kids really do look like a mini version of their parent. That's what I always thought "mini me" was referring to.

One of my friends has twin daughters who are both her "mini me." So cute!

I've never heard this either. (And it would be especially weird considering Mini Me from the Austin Powers movies was male.)
