Seriously though... Go wherever you want to go/to whatever you are interested in. With very few exceptions, you can make anything interesting for a pre-walker.

we started parent baby swim classes in that range.

Wegmans Wonderplace at the American History museum would be good. Also, Gymboree has lots of classes for kids that age.

I also liked a lot of the programs at Bloombars at that age.

And of course you need to get out and would rather not have your kid crawling around on a restaurant floor.

Love when people make assumptions that families live in single family homes. Many do not.

This is your first kid, right? Pre-walkers do not have to be taken anywhere. They can climb a couch cushion on your floor and, for them, that is equivalent to an indoor play place.

Scramble has a baby area just for crawlers so they don’t get run over by the big kids. At that age, my DS just liked being in the backyard or on the deck, blowing bubbles, playing with a ball, etc. He also liked the baby swings at parks and stuff when he was closer to about 9 months old - was still too small for them at 6 months.
