Too bad. Excellent school.
What kind of stats/scores to get into WashU? We are 1440/34 ACT here
1580
1440 would be very low.
Demonstrated interest matters at WashU.
Back to add, 34 is better than 1440 and might do the job, depending on GPA and other factors.
WashU was especially competitive this year - they had a 14% acceptance rate.
His counselor said that his ACT would probably end up being what he used, so maybe you are right about that. Not sure but we are visiting this summer.
Make a side trip to Ted Drewes for frozen custard, Missouri Baker for Italian bread, sandwiches and pastries, and try to take in a Cardinals game for a taste of the real city. The area around Wash U is fun and lively.

It was a reach for her, but it was a morale poster as she was rejected from UMD which really bothered her as her scores were far above the 75% mean. But she isn’t a URM which counts there, but not GT.
What school is GT? And what is a URM?

How did what they offer compare with what the estimator tool predicted?
Got a loan, that’s it. Was hoping for merit scholarship.
DC has other options including a school that gave them $32k/ year.
Moving on.
