Subject: Sidwell college advisor leaves
The early decision cycle was not great for Sidwell and several parents were aggressively rude to the college placement office. And then one parent made an anonymous phone call to a college dean of admissions to undermine a classmate competing against his DC.

While knowledgeable, she was very unapproachable. Patrick was great. Sorry to see him leave.

He’s not leaving because of a scandal. He’s leaving because this year’s senior class parents were so abhorrent that he was fed up with the community.
They need someone in that office who can tell parents to F off and have Bryan Garman back him/her up. But we know that won’t happen. Like most local heads, he likes feeling as if he’s part of the DC power circle.
