3 yo twins and 6 mo baby here. It took about 3-4 months for me. Until then, the baby would cry when out of my arms and wanted to nurse constantly and it was just so hard to give the other two what they needed. The last two months have been a lot better. They like how he smiles and laughs at them, and he can spend long stretches being entertained by watching them instead of my having to do something. He still doesn’t sleep but I’m hoping life will take another giant step forward when that resolves.

3 was easy. 4 is easy too. people complain too much.

Sh*t this makes me scared! We are trying for our 3rd and first two are 2 and 4. Now I am nervous we are rocking the boat! The first two are super easy!

I don't mean to be snarky here but you already had your hands full with the first two. I don't think it will be easier when you add more to what is already difficult. I don't understand what your husband's age has to do with anything. Do you have the money to get help? What is your husband's role in this?

First step is about 10-12 weeks old. Next big step is 6 months old.

Hang in there! And if something needs to give, I'd use formula .

Yes! I miss her a lot, but she is heavy and I am still recovering from my C section so I can’t do much right now, but as soon as I can I plan to leave baby with the nanny more often and spend lots of quality time with her

About 7-10 weeks total...when baby begins sleeping through the night (mostly).

My older 2 were 3 and 5.5 when my youngest was born. DC3 recently turned 4, and I think I am just starting to come out of survival mode (barely).

Lol. I also work which may make things more difficult for me in terms of getting out of survival mode - idk if you work. I’ve been happy - my house is just a mess and I look like crap (that’s what I meant re: survival mode).

I’m sure it will help when you are recovered from the c section. I think the weather is getting nicer so when you’re feeling up to it you can get out and about with the baby. I think things will start improving! Good luck.

Mine are 4, 2 and nearly 4 months... I also had my third c-section. It got pretty manageable at 2 months when the baby started to sleep a little (I warn you that it actually got a tad worse from 6-8 weeks before getting better again), but then got crazy again when I went back to work at 3 months. Now, after 3 weeks back at work, I'm finding my stride again. You can do it. Good luck!

I had the same exact spread as you age wise but no C section.

Found it start to get easier around 3 months.

My youngest is now five and I love the ages of my children and am glad we didn't wait (I actually wanted my third a little earlier than it happened, but ended up glad we waited, so had a different perspective than you at the time).

I just had my third baby (and first boy!) 13 days ago. I don’t remember how long it took with my other two (3.5 and 5.5) before we go in a schedule and things felt manageable. My 3.5 year old is a handful (especially since baby was born). I had a C section and I am still recovering/establishing my milk supply (only making 4 oz per 40+ minutes pumping session)... life is just crazy and I wish I had waited one more year... we didn’t wait because DH is older, but now I regret that decision a bit...
