If you are restricting your kids ability to play in high school and they are not a high caliber team, why would you have them miss out on something they want to take part in?
Outside of 1 player most are being fed an unrealistic dream.
He has listed an 03 and 04 team but there is only 1 team at that age group.
Who is this ignorant big mouth who seems to think there is only one college bound athlete on the "the" 03/04 team but is not aware that there are actually two separate 03 and 04 teams? My daughter plays there and I guarantee you more than one player will have options to play college.
Oh yea...also no restrictipn on HS play for 03 and 04 teams. So poster above was wrong on every fact presented. Uninformed yet oppiionated.
check with his 03 04 team that played this year, see who is coming back and see who is playing next year.
See above. Don't listen to this bitter sour graper who obviously left the team for a reason (and am glad he did as I don't want that around me on the sidelines). Coach Ned is allowing both of the two separate 03 and 04 teams to play HS next year. While you persist on insisting there is only one team, for those truly interested in the program, here are links to the two separate rosters for the 03 and 04 teams:

First of all notice this: 13 girls on 04 team and 15 girls on 03 team. How many on 1st and 2nd team rosters at Bethesda in these age groups? It's in the twenties. How many on the top Rush teams: again in the twenties. Roster spots are rationed out on game to game basis in those clubs....meanwhile in Bordeaux girls have options to play up! Now I may be ruining a good thing by advertising this, but we are committed to the club and we want it to grow.
I cannot say enough good things about the coaches and the seriousness of the training at this club. These coaches care. They have not yet been sufficiently corrupted by the American youth soccer system and have not learned how to be money grubbing megalomaniacs that seems to be the norm at this level in Montgomery County.
In order to retain anonymity (especially after my preceding comment!), I don't want to talk about where my daughter played before nor about where many of the new players came from, but suffice to say they came from high level MD teams and all speak very highly of the quality as compared to where they came from. As for the parents of girls who have been with Ned for years, they say the same and their commitment speaks for itself. I don't know anyone grousing about leaving next year. The grass is always greener so perhaps you are right, we may lose a couple. That's normal.
There were legitimate concerns about the HS prohibition but that is resolved. For those interested here are the tryout dates:
