PP here. Thanks for the suggestions. I went to Shady Grove in Woodbridge and that was a breeze and they process through insurance. Suprisingly the one in Fairfax does not process through insurance and charges directly per visit. I found this surprising as you'd think that all Shady Grove offices would run similarly. Just thought I would mention that for any others looking at this thread.

I used Dominion not too long ago.

Shady Grove does a lot of monitoring for patients working with an RE out of town. I did it for a couple of years. They just billed insurance and faxed over my results to my clinic. Once in a while there was a delay and they had to be tracked down, but overall it was a smooth process and everyone there was friendly and kind.

Dominion in Arlington were helpful about monitoring me, though that was several years ago now. Worth calling them if they’re not too far for you.

Not sure if this would even be an option, but I’ve had monitoring ultrasounds at a Progressive Radiolgy before.

OP here. I wanted to add that I'm in the Springfield/ Franconia area. It seems like Shady Grove would be a good option. How does monitoring work there and do they simply bill insurance? I'm also wondering if local hospitals like Inova have been used as an option as well (would be closest and most convenient for me).

Any other general out of town monitoring tips would be appreciated.

I'm about to start working with a fertility center in NY. Looking for a local place to monitor, preferably in Northern Virginia. Any experiences/suggestions for local clinics that are reliable for this? Thanks.
