Email Tom Torres for a tryout.

It might take 4 years for the girls to gel though.

Would appreciate suggestions!

Connect the clubs you are interested in and see if you can attend a few practices. Do not just attend tryouts. They usually have the player practice with the top team.

Since you are also concerned about driving distances, look up where these above-mentioned clubs/teams plays in a league (ODSL, NCLS, CCL, EDP, ECNL). For our U11 DD, we chose NCSL where their furthest away game last season was only 1 hour drive away while all of their home games were in Germantown SoccerPlex. If my DD continues to excel, we will consider moving her to a different team/club that plays in a more competitive league (ie EDP, ECNL). But until then, we are happy with NCSL.

Other than Bordeaux where they focus heavily on individual skills development, you should consider getting her a private coach or at the very least watch YouTube videos to develop individually at home.

Don't too caught up in the brand game and who is winning the most tournaments. Bethesda and Rush are great but coaching is important also. The coaches of the top Rush and Bethesda teams at the '06 age are rough.

Check out FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The club does a great job of developing players at the younger ages and they have a successful track record of winning u15 and older. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vTU_IgLCoo

Montgomery Coyotes Rush. They play in EDP (best league below DA and ECNL levels).

Bethesda (They have an ECNL program and next level team down plays in EDP).

Depending on which teams, there will be some travel, but EDP is heavy with Maryland teams.

Thanks! Will look into these. Do you know where they practice?
Also, how do Potomac soccer and MSI Academy rate?
