look in the owners manual... it will give you time and distace guidelines on which service to have done

oil every 6k (unles its server duty then 3k, tires rotated every 6k air filter 6k, ect. brake fluid, every 5 years, coolant flush...and so on..

timing belt is a time or distance. usually 10 years or 100K miles most honda engines are interference engines. meaning that if the timing belt breaks, you could likely destroy your engine. as the piston strikes an open valve.

pricey repair.

I have a 2008 Honda accord. I get regular oil changes but have not gotten any other service done for a while. Is there some sort of maintenance check I should have done? I seem to remember in the beginning that every certain number of miles I took it into the dealer and had a once over. Should I take it to the dealer and ask them to do some kind of check on it? I drive my two-year-old around in it, so I want it to be safe. But I also feel like if I show up at a dealer and ask them to check it out, they will find things wrong with it just to charge me to fix them.
