Anyone have a recommendation for a place? NP. $200 seems totally fair to me if it looks obviously better after. I’d like headlight restoration too. Thank you.

Just because your time is of no value does not mean the detailers time is of no value.

I paid 250 at KP touch in Arlington and they did an ok job. Years before I paid 450 st some place in gtiwn that made my disgusting car like new. I could not believe it was the same car. I had a minivan destroyed by baby puke and dirt. KP didn’t come close.

I now have a black luxury car and I plan to visit the gtown place again soon.

$120 for a small SUV (crv) is what we usually pay. Large SUVs are closer to $200

Anonymous wrote:$200 is a flyby detail. $1K is more like it for a "deep clean". This involves a complete wash, clay, tape, 2-3 stage paint correction, followed by a high degree sealant.

Ridiculous.

Look at Groupon. I paid $150 last year for a mobile place to come to my work and do it. They did a great job. I was happy, i have 2 dogs and it was 99% hair free afterwards.

$200 is a good deal. Preferable to find someone through word of mouth as some of these operations can be pretty shady.

Don't pay until the car is finished and you can inspect it.

And by detailing I mean a really deep clean. I was just quoted $200 which sounds absurdly high to me. Is that about right? Note that I have to take my car somewhere. I can’t have someone come to me bc I live in an apartment building with no water or power hook ups.
