MLS: develop players to sign on homegrown contracts
Non MLS clubs: some combination of win games and develop players (depending on the club, it may be one or the other or both)
MLS wants its own program. If they do something themselves, the Boys DA will crumble under the difficult standards they force all clubs to follow

I've spoken to people at DCU and never gotten a straight answer. Seems there is some debate / awaiting facilities still going on. I've heard:
Next year.
2020
Only the U16s will move to Loudon, the U15s and below will stay in DC.
Some teams may split training between Loudon and DC.
Yeah, all over the map. Until I see it on the DCU website I'm just going to wait on that one.
Wonder whether US soccer will move to have a new DA program in the city or Eastern suburbs to catch the kids in those areas.

Well, I mean with DC United moving next door this was kinda predictable.
Other factors, with DA phasing out the younger ages and Loudoun not being a full DA there really was no reason to stay in.
You mean Loudoun United, the minor league team, right?
