under the lemon law if a repair has been attemtped X number of times and failed. then the vehicle could be considered a lemon. usually only valid with in the first year or two of vehicle ownership

You don't need a lawyer. You go back to the dealership and show them all of your proof. You tell them they need to give you a new car or you will be contacting a lawyer.

why do you need a lawyer.

print out the relevant information, bring all your documents repair orders, calender of total down time, ect, make an appointment with the general manager and service manager of the dealer in question where you purchased the car.

sit down. and outline what you want.

Ideally you want a complete buy back based on your original purchase price, IE loan paid off, so you can walk away or an one for one exchange. Ie they take your old vehicle in trade for a new one

this would be my first step. If the general manager is not receptive, then you escalate up to the regional manager of the brand in question.

if the goes nowhere, then you can always send a letter to the ceo ect complaint department of the brand in question.

this is what the lawyer will do and he will take your money while he does it.

After the first step with the general manager/service manager if they are unresponsive, when you escalate up to the next level. you ask for more. if the vehicle is exchanged, you want an upgrade to the next trim level if they buy you out, then you want an extra couple thousand dollars for yoru trouble. if the regional manager is not responsive, then in your letter to the ceo, you once again ask for more. the top level trim, upgrades, longer warranty, ect or a complete buyout with even more money for your troubles.

dont be emotional, be factual. dn't start bad mouthing anyone on any social media facebook, twitter, ect. Mention this in your letters that you have not done this. call this part of your leverage... they want you to not go public.

once you go public, you ind of loose some leverage and then it starts to snowball.

be nice, be respectful and you'll likely get what you need to be made whole again.
