Acceptance Rate:

2007 - 39%
2012 - 42%
2019 - 27%

Also wrong.

This information is out there. Spend two minutes on google before you type.

As someone else pointed out your singular data is misleading at best. So not sure it warrants the condescending tone.

Sorry, but wrong.

Admit rate is not the full picture. I don’t know anything about Trinity specifically, but if the caliber of student applying has decreased (and esp if simultaenously the sheer number of applicants has increased due to common app) then the admit rate could go down but it could still be easier to get into for the same higher stat kid from 10 years prior.

Probably none. Lot of international applicants pay full fare.

Penn State and Ohio State have gotten a lot tougher.

St. Mary’s in southern MD. I applied there in 1993 and got waitlisted. It was my first choice and I was so upset. My cousin’s went there and I fell in love without the campus when I went to their graduations. I’ve heard they’ve had some enrollment troubles recently.

We all hear the “OMG it’s so hard to get into [xyz] now! I would’ve never been able to get in if I were applying today” about various schools. Any that have gotten less selective over the years?
