Peleton App ($20/mo) offers tons of classes- biking, running, strength training, yoga, stretching. You don't have to have a Peloton bike- you can use any stationary bike or treadmill- you just won't see how your numbers are in comparison to others.
Put a posting on Nextdoor letting people know you are in the market for gear- it's amazing how many responses people get when looking for something. Also get some free weights, a yoga mat and resistance bands.

Another vote for Peloton. Supplement it with weights and then use their beyond the ride weight training videos to guide your weight training. They also have stretching and yoga videos. It's pretty awesome.

Another vote for Peloton. They have a treadmill and a bike. Both are pricey so if that's an issue just subscribe to the app ($20/mo) and you can stream their classes using a regular bike or treadmill. They also have a ton of other classes like yoga and strength. Highly recommend!

How in shape are you? What kind of exercise do you like to do? Peloton is great but if you don't like spinning, it won't work for you. We have one and my husband uses it, but I prefer videos of HIIT. You have to figure out what works for you.

FWIW, I love Moms Into Fitness streaming programs. They are great for moms. Many of the programs are under 30 minutes long and she has calendars that spell out what you need to do each day (cardio, strength, core, etc) so there's no guesswork. You only need a resistance band, and a set of light and heavy weights.

If you get a Peloton and a pull-up bar, you can get in great shape. Throw in push-ups to balance the pull-ups, and that's a solid workout. The Peloton app offers strength workouts, yoga, stretching, etc., in addition to the bike rides.

Oh, also a double jogger if you're into running at all. Or, skip the Peloton and get the jogger. That sucker will get you in shape in no time!

I have the following workout equipment:

Spin bike
3 sets of dumbells (5lbs, 10lbs, 20lbs)
1 Medicine ball
2 sets of exercise bands (the mini kind and the loop)
jump rope
TRX System
Rebok Deck/Bench (https://www.amazon.com/Reebok-Professional-Aerobic-Deck-Black/dp/B01LYFX9WX/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3H7AHY923KENH&keywords=rebook+bench&qid=1551785216&s=gateway&sprefix=rebook+bench%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-1)

Between all these items, I have done the Sweat app but now do Alexia Clark's program. Clark is more lifting, less plyo which my 47 year old knees couldn't take anymore. Clark is committed to home workouts though. Her home workouts are as good as her gym workouts.

Powerblock dumbbells, flat bench and pull up bar. You can do pretty much everything you need. Get this to turn your dumbbells into kettle bells for more options.

Dumbbells
Kettle bells
Resistance bands
Pull up bar

You would be amazed how in shape you can get with just these. If you have room, a bench that inclines would help as well for doing things like incline presses and chest flys. If you have even more room, a squat rack with a bar which would allow you to do squats and deadlifts.

But if I had to suggest any four affordable, space conserving things- the ones above.

The off brand of TRX bands called “Woss” is a great option for full body workout if you can set it up somewhere in your house.

There’s a lot you can do with adjustable dumbbells and they don’t take up much room.

Fitness blender is good. I liked it best when I spent the $15 to buy one of their programs. Then they take all the individual videos and put them in an order that makes sense and you work out every day for 30 minutes. (or 45 if you prefer)

It's mainly HIIT with light weights or body weight. I like it and think it's pretty effective.

HasFit videos on YouTube.

Kettlebell and heavy hand weights. Weight lifting gloves.

If you've got money for a machine, treadmill is my preference.

I need to be honest with myself that the only way I'm going to be able to work our at this point in my life is to work out at home. (I have two young children)

What should I buy?

I was thinking resistance bands? Stationary bike? Some weights?

Also any videos to recommend? (I have amazon, Netflix and Hulu)
