As if American companies were denied the opportunity to provide enough sponsorship to be recognized on the team jerseys ...

So we should wear the symbol of a foreign company on our National team jersey because it's the world cup?

I was referring to the stupid comment about “... the World Cup in France.” There’s nothing wrong about having a sponsor, especially with how underfunded our WNT is. Also seeing as there is a VW plant in the US which employs Americans, it seems like an overly fastidious thing to whine about.

Our WNT should try to capitalize and monetize their brand as much as possible. If a foreign company is willing to pay the most to place their brand on a warm-up top or practice jersey, then good for US Soccer. It takes money to do the things that people want US Soccer to do. Not sure why people think making as much money as possible is a bad thing.

The US representing a Germany product (VW) on a national team jersey will preparing for the world cup in France.

It all makes perfect sense.

Do you say the same about the people who talk during the anthem? What about the people who keep their hat on?

She doesn’t have to put her hand over her heart to please you. Grow up.

It hacks me off that Rapinoe refuses to put her hand over her heart for the national anthem. What a disgrace. She's there on a NATIONAL TEAM representing ALL of us, as a captain no less, and she can't bother to be respectful. Nope. Not happening, in my book. And no way we send that crappy message to the world in the World Cup.

Also hated the jersey name gimmick. Is the USWNT now a political statement machine, or are they there to play soccer at the highest level? Win the game and pursue your political agenda on your own time.

Keeper's got to save that second goal, too.

Dunn is very solid for us. This new goalkeeper is awful, we have to find better options before World Cup or we are trouble.

Very boring game so far...neither team has created chances.

Anyone else watching? Has Mallory Pugh completed a pass, we really need horan.
