We take our younger children to concerts all the time. We talk about what they will see. A lot of fun.

I only have a 12yr old, but I think this would be bordering on too inappropriate for a 14yr old.

Then again I agree with whoever on here said that the best way to de-sexify something is watch it with your parents.

No. This was her performance at the Grammys. I can only imagine what she'd do when it doesn't have to be suitable for TV.

I think it’s ok as long as a parent or another adult is there with her.

If you husband is saying 'no' don't undermine him by saying 'yes'. I'd be OK with the supervised concert, but the problem is that your husband is not OK with it. One 'no' is enough.

I'd be fine with it. We don't censor music. We just use it as opportunities to talk about things with our kids.

Heck, I'd be thrilled if mine wanted to go see Cardi B instead of some of the weird indie/obscure bands she's into right now (and their shows I've attended with her). She's going through her "anything on the radio is terrible" phase where she thinks the bands she listens to are superior to all else.
