Maybe there is “mild malaria” but when I had it I was so sick I thought I was going to die. Sky high fever, non stop teeth chattering chills and every joint in my body was in pain. OP doesn’t sound this sick.

It’s true. I was worried for her when she posted two days ago - but if it was Malaria or dengue or typhoid she’d know by now!

Op here. I do have something very serious. I would like to be seen by a doctor.

Serious question about your boo boo. Why don't you schedule an appointment with a doctor then?

I could have a life threatening illness. I am the traveler who returned from India recently with a fever.

So you still haven’t gone? What are you waiting for? Just ask to be tested for dengue and malaria.

You do know it's Malaria and not Montezuma's revenge?

Show me your credentials - are you a doctor or just a lowly nurse?

What are you doing on DCUM if your life is about to end from a fever?

This is one of the signs of the apocalypse...people that spend that last few hours of life on DCUM.

Jeff, it's time to raise your advertising rates!!

Or you could just have a fever. How do you know yours is life threatening?

Speak up if you have concerns. I wouldn't be comfortable with a nurse either.

Uh, if you go in with a boo boo, a doctor doesn't have to be the one who kisses it. The nurses' kisses work just as well.

Will they ever only allow a nurse to treat you?
