How is this at all helpful? Its like you're responding to another thread.

Thanks all. I have done some researching. One more question I have is, after your kids come home and rest/snack/watch a show on tv do you push to do an activity like playground, riding bikes, etc before they have to complete homework and dinner is made on a day they don't have dance/soccer lessons? Or is that too much?

Why don't you ask your children?

Because I'm trying to get a sense of a regular schedule that we can loosely adhere to and am trying to find some general norms that work.

Mornings are for making breakfast and getting kids ready and out the door,

A lot of my day is spent shuffling kids to and from school, and appointments. I have 3 kids I have to get from various places so it takes up a good part of my day. During thebin between time we read book. In the evening I clean and short order cook everyone dinner. Schedule should even out as the kids get older and I will go back to some sort of work when youngest is in K,

This afternoon we will go to Bloomingdale's. My son takes a nap from 3-5 pm. Husband is home by 6. I start cooking around 6 pm. Groceries are delivered. We eat out a lot. After dinner we go swimming or to the beach. I like to keep my schedule very loose. It's more relaxing that way. We have a small condo so cleaning is easy. It's not really something I think about. I clean here and there throughout the day.

How many kids do you have in your small condo?

I have a baby and 1 in elem. but before he was born schedule wise:

9-11 after drop off morning - either laundry, garbages, clean kitchen, mop, garden, clean bathroom etc,
11-12 - eat a leisurely lunch, or pick up DD for lunch
12-1230-walk dog
1230-2:00 - some kind of errand - dr appt, oil change, grocery shopping, household shopping, household stuff that needs to be fixed, car repair stuff, meal planning, making snacks/breakfasrs and freezing them
2:00-3:00 make dinner and dessert - pick up dd at 3:15

*if theres a day i have open time ill go to the gym, visit older family in the area or just have some lazy time.

What are some goals you want to accomplish? Are those daily or weekly goals? Grocery shopping/errands? Cleaning? working out?

Before school: sort laundry/throw some into washing machine
After drop off: workout, swap laundry
Cleaning by room/task/whichever way you prefer
shower
run errands/grocery shop/meal plan/meal prep
pick up kids

swap laundry throughout the day as needed. Fold and put away as needed.

Start small with goals to meet for the next day and goals for the next week. I think writing things out in a list helps. Your problem sounds more like one of losing focus, solve for that first.

Most moms work out in the morning before preschool pick up or grocery shop etc. It shouldn't be hard to Google this.

I'm a new sahm and I need schedule help! Can someone tell me what your schedule looks like when you have two kids (1 in el and 1 in preschool but next year both in el)? I find myself feeling overwhelmed at times like I am not doing enough while they are home and then a little lost when they are both at school.
