Are you looking at the listing on Hardy?
The nice thing about that neighborhood (unlike most McLean neighborhoods) - there is no cut through traffic.
The new build is outside out budget (1.3) but we are planning to see the Hardy listing this weekend. I think it might be too small though.
I’m encouraged to hear all these positive comments. Rare uniformly positive from dcum!
It is in McLean. Let’s be honest, you are looking in the top neighborhood in VAand there are literally no bad parts of McLean. It really is just a matter of finding the right house for you in the area.
There are bad parts of McLean but the mavens if DCUM don’t know about them.

It is always a dice roll with finding a street with similarly ages kids that get along with each other, but there are plenty of neighbors in the neighborhood and in the surrounding neighborhoods too. Plus, in the summer when the kids are older they can walk to Highlands pool by themselves or walk over to Linway Terrace park to play. Nice access to creek walking over by the pool. Close to the ES, further to MS and HS.
