She’s immensely talented and seems like a nice person (didn’t know about any husband stealing). But she looked totally 100% average on DM pics from the airport yesterday. That leads me to think she had a good amount of primping going on at the Grammys.

She hasn’t released a good song since she stole that lady’s husband. But I loved her music in high school.

Also she clearly wears makeup (perhaps not as much as other celebs?) but her skin has really improved since she has adopted her “no makeup” stance so if she likes it I love it.

Well I saw her over a decade ago in concert and the camera zoomed in on her face. Her skin looked really bad mainly dry. It's not surprising to me that she went this route. Her skin now looks really really good. It's obvious she's using a little makeup and oils to get the glow.

Maybe not to make up in the conventional ways that most women wear it, but still not any less preoccupied with how she looks. I don't see the big liberating difference here.

I get your point. But at the same time, I found that every time I see her I'm a little startled by how little makeup she's wearing. And I'm not even that into makeup! So it's having an impact, even if she does still have some sort of rigorous beauty routine I can't keep up with.
