How racist.

At 1:35? It started at 9 am. My kid finished in 1.5 hours.

The test was not untimed. At 1:35 kids were told they have to finish in 25 minutes

Drat. I forgot the test was today. I’ve always thought I could make a pretty penny selling acne cream and donuts outside the SWW test line.

Same. DC also said there was not enough space to write 6 paragraphs.

The essay said specifically to write six paragraphs?

I'm glad mine wasn't the only one who said it was hard.

If that description is not an exaggeration then SWW and DCPS need to do a debrief now to identify problems to correct them next go around. Do students register in advance to know how many are testing? If so, no excuse for not providing an appropriate testing environment where students have space to think.

Yes - they have to file an application through the MSDC site. Applications were due 1/31 or 2/1 (can't recall which).

And yes, they know it's going to be packed. It always is.

It's always like that. Over a thousand kids take the test every year.

I was amazed at how many kids sat for the test. Good luck to everybody.
