Alcohol has long lasting effects on the brain as well, particularly when a lot of binge drinking is involved. It’s not fair to say that every effect of alcohol is just a fleeting and gone by the time it’s out of your system, that’s just simply not true. Look at lifelong alcoholics and you will see that there is absolutely an impact on their brain function.

This is misleading because there hasn’t been much studied about marijuana. Not like alcohol. And what we do know of frequent marijiana use for teens is that it can have lifelong consequences. Including schizophrenia.
Do what you want after 21. Teens shouldn’t be doing either.
