I just use my cmf as a guide of when to try.

The first time I tried opk and it was all over the place. I think my basal lh was too high to get clear results (10 on CD 3). So I gave up on that and went just by cm and it took over 2 years. After that delivery, my hormones seemed to do a reset and my basal lh was 4 on CD 3. It was so much easier to use the opk and got lucky on the fourth try.

OPKs from Amazon (you can get a 50 pack for under $20 and it includes home pregnancy tests to boot) plus monitoring cervical mucus (mine got to the EWCM stage before the OPK was positive). Temping was too annoying for me to do every month.

For those in between treatment cycles or taking a break for an undetermined amount of time, when you try naturally, what exactly are you doing?

Having sex whenever you feel like it?
Temping?
OPKs?
Ava bracelet?

Just wondering as I sense we may stop treatments soon but I still want to actively try every month with some accuracy but without having it control my life.
