She probably knows what fraternal/identical means, PP. but can’t say for sure medically.
Hahah op here - yes I know the difference! We are two girls and look enough alike that you know we are twins. Kind of like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They are fraternal but look a lot alike.

And can cause cysts. DW went rogue during an IUI cycle at Shady Grove (unmonitored) and got her OB to prescribe clomid. SG found out and they got PISSED because it was a liability issue (which makes sense, and we didn't quite get it at the time). Cycle didn't work and she developed a cyst that took a few months to resolve.

Anonymous wrote:NO!!!! OB's really know next to nothing about getting pregnant. If you take clomid, you need to be monitored unless you want to end up with high order multiples.

I would not take clomid in an monitored cycle. You can end up with high order multiples if you aren't careful. You want to be sure someone is watching to see how many follicles mature.

While I speaking with my OB she said that the only thing she could offer was clomid but it wouldn't be a monitored cycle. Should I do something like that? I don't think I have trouble ovulating but who knows. I am nervous about twins since I am a twin as well. Any advice?
