OP here. I did not demand anyone to not watch SOTU. I gave my opinion and wanted to know what others are doing. If Trump was inspirational, or even truthful I might excuse his severe lack of oratory and may watch - but he is unethical, trollish bullshitter. I cannot take that.

Oh stop it. Your unduly elected leader is the most divisive politician in the US right now. He actively foments divisiveness with every tweet, every caustic comment. He has nothing of interest to say to me except "I resign."

I'm not watching, not because other people "demand" I not watch, but because Trump is both a fool and a horrible, rotten human being and I have no need to waste an hour of my time listening to him blather in his middle-school prose.

P.S. I also love Maxine Waters and I love how she has become your shorthand for "scary!" -- yeah, those sharp-witted octogenarian black women who have experienced the worst that America ever was and still triumphed and still love this country are so scary.

I never watch. It's far more entertaining to read the DCUM SOTU thread.

I'd watch it another network got Alec Baldwin to re-read it while Colbert narrates.

I am not watching it or reading it. I might scroll through Twitter for some funny soundbites though.

I cannot tolerate the way Trump speaks and I usually read the transcript to understand what is his latest propaganda.

But, who is going to watch Trump lie again? I am switching my TV off at 8:50 to 10pm.
