9 times out of ten th person merging is going slower than surrounding traffic, even if they speed up to pass, they still end up slowing down. if I'm cruising along in the right lane. nothing pisses me off more than some one passing me and then slowing down right in front of me.
christ if you are going to go slow, you could have done that behind me.

Agree OP, I hate this too. I makes me so mad when people do this. To save a second of time? Not sure why.
