The divorced dads are enthusiastic because they have been beaten down sexually, rejected, turned away, etc., for years by their frigid wives. Hence the divorce part of it.

Now that they find someone who wants to touch them, and is sexually active and adventurous, they are reborn. The single men may have never felt that soul-sucking rejection over and over in a dead marriage.

It's not that difficult to understand.

As a would-be divorced dad, I'd say this makes total sense. Other PPs have basically said it, but yeah, after years of the same, plain vanilla body, or rejection, nagging, toxic negativity, who wouldn't be psyched?

I know I would.

OP, interesting observation. Newness, sense of freedom after constraints of marriage, being desired, and being used to work at a relationship (ideally marriage gives practice in compromise, thinking about the other person, being a team).

Divorced dads' bar is pretty low, is all.

Most of those guys are divorced because their wives stopped wanting sex. So all you need to do is show even the slightest hint of interest, this makes you a kinky porn star compared to the ex wife.

Being with a woman who is excited about you is MUCH more exciting than being with a woman who isn't.

It’s the thrill of being with someone new after being with the same person for 10-20 years, especially if his marriage soured long before it ended. Also, dating is mostly upside: nice dinners, good grooming/manners, fun outings, exciting sex. You get the best he has to offer (and give the best you have to offer), without needing his help with the house, the kids or the bills, so pleasing you is easy and fun.

Op here. Thinking. Maybe guys in their thirties and forties who dont have kids are more attractive to women, because they dont have as much baggage, and so the single guys find it easier to get action and thus are less excited?

Early forties single childless female here. In the past couple years, have started dating divorced dads.

I want to keep this non-explicit.

But - there is just a difference in bed between divorced dads vs thirty and forty something men who have never been married. I swear the divorced dads have the enthusiasm and eagerness of teenage boys. They just seem so....excited and psyched to be hooking up with me. And....I think they are often better in bed. More skilled, more enthusiastic, more eager to focus on my pleasure, can spend hours fooling around, always up for it....

Now, my sampling size is not large enough to be statistically accurate. But has anyone else noticed this? Why would this be?
