Some people are saying that people should know about magnet hs decisions by the end of the first week in February, others say by feb 15. whatever it is, they should definitely come out within the first two weeks of feb.

I couldn’t sleep last night, so I looked back at last year’s timeline for notifications.
On Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, the MCPS options twitter page posted “HS magnet results will arrive next week.” (Or something like that)
The very next day, Feb. 3, 2018), people on DCUM started receiving and posting about their kids’ results.
No idea how the weather related closings might affect things, but if they following last year’s timeline, we might start receiving notifications this Saturday!
Do the individual schools send out the mailings or is it special options office?
