OP here. We had snow in Leesburg. I'm guessing an inch. I am concerned because I see some small/icy patches in the turn lanes and side roads I see out my window.

Thanks for all of the input/observations of roads in your area. Anybody between Leesburg and Alexandria - like Fairfax, Vienna, Springfield, McLean, etc?

I live in Alexandria, and keep seeing a few cars that were clearly snow/salt covered. Where the hell did they come from?! We had some snow yesterday, but none of it stuck. Alexandria is a snow desert. There is zero snow anywhere.

It should be fine either way but unless your pilot has 4wd there's no difference in taking either car

My 22-year-old daughter is driving from Leesburg to Alexandria tonight, gone from about 5-11 pm. She is a good driver, but has little experience with snow and ice.

Will she be ok in her 2013 Honda Accord, or based on the roads, should she take my Honda Pilot? I have not driven anywhere today.

Or would you suggest the she Uber, leaving the driving to someone with more experience?

Thanks for your input - I have not driven anywhere today.
