We live near you (18th and U) and our kids go to NCRC. It’s a super quick drive, but I am not sure how you could walk there and back every morning and then head to work on time.... saves you gym money though!

OP here. We are near the 14th and U street corridor. But, willing to get to the red line for metro a few stops.

Going to check out some of the options presented! Thanks. I did look at CCPC, buy, yeah, it was just a little bit too hard to get to.

Where do you live? If it is a part-time program you need to be able to get there easily using public transport if you don't have a car, so start and end points of the commute do matter.

CCPC is very nice but it is only served by buses as the metro is too far to walk.
You could try Aidan Montessori, NCRC, St. Columba's. They all have part time options and are near Metro.
Someone I know whose kid attends a charter school requested them to let him off at 1pm when he was in PK3. They did let her do that for one year but didn't allow it for PK4.

We just got waitlisted at a part time preschool (9-12). My LO is going to be four in September but has never been away from me, so I am deferring public options and was really hoping to ease her into separation with a part time option. But am having a hard time finding a convenient option that we can get to (no car). I have seen lots of options in Maryland and Virginia, but am having trouble finding ones closer to home. Any one have any recommendations I could check out?
