Yes, it is. If you are in place of business, the clients and employees need to be able to hear each other without shouting over your kids' videos and games. It is rude AF in a restaurant, office, store, etc. Do what you want outdoors or on the bus, but cut it off when you come inside.

The worst is when the kid who's 8 is watching inappropriate shows in the table next to us, and my 3 year old is watching and it's so loud he and I can't ignore it.

The parent must be the woman in the locker room at my gym who always puts her music on speaker so everyone can hear it over the noise of the shower.

It's not just little kids anymore. I now see adults constantly on their devices in public with no headphones. In one recent week, had this happen on airplane, at a restaurant and even at my local nail salon.

I'm getting my MS and another student brought her five year old and let her watch a cartoon for the duration of our class. Which only meets once a month and is otherwise online, and the professor is difficult to reach. No one said anything.

That's because the little ones whine if they can't hear paw patrol. Parent failed to bring headphones, or larla doesn't like to wear them. And parent doesn't want to hear the whining.

There is no thought process. They're so use to the noise in the background that they don't realize it's a nuisance. Even my sister has let her DD use her phone with the sound on in our place of worship. Sure other people are chatting during the sermon but that doesn't excuse you!

True. It IS annoying, especially when they are in my place of employment. There are plenty of inexpensive kid-size on-ear headphones available for reasonable cost, I don't really know why they haven't caught on.
