- Don’t put them on a pedestal, they’re not that special.
- Fall in love with yourself. Figure out what attracts you the most to them and work to acquire those qualities
- Date from a place of abundance and confidence, not scarcity
- Date a pair and a spare, remember that they are nobode until they commit to you.

Maybe you should take a break from dating at all and focus on you and building a life where you are pretty happy with how you are spending your time, your hobbies, your friendships and your work. If you are looking for a guy to provide your sense of purpose and happiness, you're going to struggle

Don’t idealize and romanticize everything. Allow time to build (months) to help in truly validating what you feel. Most wont make it that long.
