so, I had a stillbirth at the end of a pregnancy (38th week) - and I definitely did not rush to talk to my RE... especially since they didn't take some health indications seriously (focusing on getting me pregnant vs. how I would manage the pregnancy). Had children eventually via gestational surrogate - and I am thankful to the team of doctors that helped me reach that - but this is really bad and insensitive (and even cruel) marketing from Dominion - trying to play on a tear jerking story with all the added tragic elements that isn't really relevant to most of their patient base.

I have to say, I hate Dominion marketing, including you, OP. It's very manipulative and pushy. They do a lot of radio ads on the spanish language station, with baby cooing sounds, etc.
For anyone considering dominion: check their results on SART page of CDC - the stats are quite poor. Always compare providers before plunking down major dough. Infertility is difficult, don't let marketing people playing on your emotions guide your decisions.

I totally get that she wanted to talk to her RE first. I LOVED my RE and knew he was 1000% on my side, and during our fertility struggle he was basically family.

I find it hard to believe that the first person she wanted to talk to was Dr DiMatina (sp?).
