Normally, I would say stay home but, since you know the daughter I would say go to the daughter's house. Bring your favorite place to sleep and kitty litter. Maybe a shirt or something with your owner's smell?

A last point. If your person has some teenage friends with many siblings in the neighborhood, they might be willing to come and see if you can help with their homework. We love to help our neighbors with homework, and sometimes they even introduce us to new kinds of music!

OK.....it's the Kitty OP here, and it seems unanimous. Home turf it is! (......with a little extra $$ for the cat sitter to come more frequently and spend lomger visits).

How likely are you to attempt to escape from the daughter's house? And are there other kitties or people there to bother you? If you are an easygoing type not likely to bolt and there are no other bothersome critters or people, you might like the visit. But if it won't be tranquil, we, your kitty friends, suggest a regimen of increased napping for a week.

When my owners go away I just sleep a bit extra every day. The sitter doesn't need to do much as I eat less and...well, do less of everything. I think the at home approach is what she should do for you!

It depends on the cat! My cat is super social and was stressed by not having people around. Next time we won’t leave him alone that long.

I think you will be less stressed and lonely if a sitter comes in twice a day.

At least, my kitty is happier that way. Then when a visitor comes it is super fun for her! They bond and have a good time (for a few minutes

My dad was one who come and would watch a 30-min show or something. More like house sitting. You could either pay someone for quick visits..or perhaps for not much more you could ask them to stay for 20-30 and play with cat/sit/read/watch tv.

It would be ideal if daughter stayed in my house, and she has in the last, but she can't do it this time.
We will "splurge" in two visits a day, at least for most of the days.
