I hate to say this OP but she fits the profile of someone being wed trafficked. A lot of teenage girls in this situation are normal middle class girls groomed by older “boyfriends” who talk the girls into doing something sexual and then use blackmail, force or withholding of love to get the girl to do subsequent and escalating acts.

You seem tone deaf to why your daughter ran away and why she is staying away.

Did you post before? I think I remember this. If you are serious about her coming home to stay, you need to get to the bottom of why she hates the house. As a minor, she can’t live and work on her own without your permission. However, even if the police do find her, she will just run away again unless you get to the root of the issue.

I would offer to meet her in a neutral location-she can pick. Express how much you love and miss her, and that you want to work out a solution. Hopefully she’ll be open to hearing you and at least meeting again. You are at a disadvantage because she’s already gone, so I would be careful!

So I am sure you reported to police that she called? What did they say? I personally don’t believe your story.

I'm sorry, I can't imagine your worry. Have you asked the police what you should do?

My DD 16 is missing, with police looking for her. She has been gone a month, with no contact. Out of the blue, she called me last night. She sounds fine and I can hear people in the background. She does not want to come home. At.All. She want's to live, work and get a place on her own. WTF? I pleaded with her to come home, but she says that is not her home. She hates the house. What the heck should I do? Stop pleading and say ok?
