Canned tuna is literally a thing I don't get. I understand that sales are plummeting bc most millennials agree with me.

If you hate it, just toss or donate.

What else can I do? We have 1 regular can and 2 mini cans of this stuff.

You hate the stuff so it's a sunk cost. Throw it away and buy the tuna in water.

OP, drain some of the oil and use the tuna for salade Niçoise.

You can mix it with pasta. That's almost the same as putting olive oil or salad dressing in pasta.
You can also drain the excess oil by rinsing the tuna with a sieve, then leave out to drain the water.

Well, that is a major problem. What will your unappreciative guests do after eating their alloted 1 asapargus spear and 1 slice of that large pizza you purchased?

You can make pasta puttanesca using the tuna in place of the anchovies.

I accidentally bought solid tuna in vegetable oil. We usually get the tuna in water. I tried making my usual sandwich with it and I hated it. I drained the oil as best I could and didn't use as much mayo but it was gross.
