The sex has not stopped, we have sex about twice a week. And I don't know if I would care if he had an affair. It was never a stated "dealbreaker" for me ... We've briefly talked about opening the marriage, he was not interested at the time.

So you have sex twice a week with someone who repulses you? Talk about taking one (or two) for the team.

Why the repulsion? Were you ever attracted? Have you met and fallen for another man?

I'm not PP, but I'm also not attracted to my husband. I would not care if he had an affair. In fact, if he did, I'd probably send her a gift basket for making my life easier.

Bahahaha! More than a few women out there with this philosophy. Either the guys cheated, or for whatever reason they are long done with them. Very difficult to have sex with someone you aren't crazy about. Nothing to do with hormones, or seeing a shrink as so many on here try to encourage which makes me laugh.

I've always loved him, but the sex was harder when he was overweight. He's lost a lot of weight (still has some to go, but he's accomplished a lot so far) and I'm much more physically attracted to him now.

I have fallen in and out and in again a number of times. Together 15years. I was more deeply in than ever when I discovered he has been having an EA. I’m not sure where that leaves us now. I mostly feel dead inside.

This. I guess ironically, I needed my husband to stop working on himself so much and start making being a husband/dad a bigger priority. I am more attracted to him when he is skinny and home for dinner every night than when he has big muscles from being constantly at the gym.
He seems convinced it’s his beard.

I fell in love with him again, but it took him doing a 180 to get me to notice him again in an intimate way. So it is possible, but the husband will have to work on himself.

I did. It took moving to a lower col area, reduced stress, and an illness. My DH is not fine with me not finding it regardless of good sex. He wants me to be in love with him.

So have any of you wives who weren’t into their husbands found it again with them?

I think the husbands are fine with you finding it or not finding it as long as there is regular and good sex.
