It was previously scheduled as early release.

Roads are fine by us, but we are in Clarendon. I know the main roads and Metro areas get plowed/treated first.

I heard that plowing/clearing lots and sidewalks at schools most likely won't be done on time. I think they might be closed since it will re-freeze tonight. But, at the very least there will be a delay.

Judging by past storms of this magnitude, there usually are 2 days minimum of closures.

They extended to 3pm Tuesday.

Out street is still a mess! DH has to shovel himself out this morning to go to work, despite shoveling yesterday.

I seriously doubt we will only get one day off from a foot of snow. I am preparing for a closure.

I think we can count on at least a delay. Temps are supposed to be in the 20s tonight, so whatever melts today will refreeze.

Side walks are a mess, makes it hard for kids to walk. No school Tuesday, hoping they are back on Wednesday

We have not yet seen a plow in our N Arlington neighborhood.

Our side street is down to the asphalt, but I assume a 2 hour delay.

I’m guessing 2 hour delay.

Minimum 2hr delay but my prediction is closure. The high today is only forecast to be 36, so the plows are going to get very little help in terms of melting.

No school. We still haven’t seen a snow plow on our street in N. Arlington.
