ANET is used as an in class assessment to help teachers see what still needs to be taught and what is considered mastered.

My school uses it as a predictor to see how kids will do on PARCC.

I think it is mostly used to see if students are making progress toward the Common Core standards that will be part of the end of year PARCC assessments.

Never heard of any school using it for grades but you probably need to check with your teacher / principal.
