People in an open relationship would never involve friends or civilians, you husband has a crush but he’s not getting any closer to her than I am. You’re insecurities are rooted in the flaws of your relationship that you’ve already alluded to..work on them and don’t worry about your friends, they likely have it more together than you two do.

Definitely cut off contact. All of it. Being friends with her won't stop anything. I bought birthday presents for the children of my ex husband's secretary for years... Even picked out flowers for her for admin appreciation day. She sent me lovely thank you cards, all the while she was sleeping with my husband.

Crushes are one thing. Possibilities are another. A crush is someone you admire from afar. A possibility is your swinger friend that your DH is attracted to. I don’t really like drama or gambling, so I’d say no.

A fairly new <2 year friend couple have mentioned they have an open marriage. We do not. DH has admitted being attracted to the wife. We are working on our own relationship. Do we stop seeing them socially? They are part of a larger friend group.
