What does DD want? My first had friends from several different groups. Her party was about 12 kids, & we did a scavenger hunt and fire pit for her 12th. Younger DD had a smaller closer group, so we took about 6 friends to hibachi.

Yes 6th grader with 7 rotating classes. I barely know more than 5 of the kids she currently claims to know since the transition to middle school.

I absolutely would not invite the entire class to party in a public space.

Also, does DC have rotating classes? In elementary school, inviting the entire class is easy. After that, there really isn't one class. Kids have friends who are in some classes but not in others.

Well, if it's a park, again, however many they want. If it's an indoor place, they obviously have to stop at whatever the place's limit is.

We stopped the big bday parties after age 10, and moved to an under 6 kids, pizza, movie, sleepover at our house, or 2-3 friends, out to dinner and out to a movie and sleepover.
