At 30- maybe 2k, that was our cushion and emergency fund and everything!

At 34- 65k, including emergency funds.

$12000-16000 depending on time of the month. That includes the emergency fund, so we don't have to make any manual transfers when i don't get paid next week....

Like $3800. The rest of my liquid fund is in a separate saving account. I just transfer $3000 to the checking the 1st every month to cover monthly expenses. I don't wanna keep the account too low and risk forgetting autopays coming out.

We transfer whatever we need to into it in order to pay bills. Other than that, we keep a $100 cushion in there.

$58,000. Our checking account is also our emergency fund. DH is a furloughed contractor (no backpay), so very grateful for the cushion.

I don’t want to look. Haven’t received my federal check yet. Not negative though. Expenses checking has $3,000 which includes February mortgage and student loan payment. Regular checking is probably low. I have cash in my wallet I’m trying to use for anything small that comes up.
