Excuse me. I have been a teacher for a long time and I have a Master of Arts degree. I was always one of the smartest kids in class. There are varying levels of intelligence across most professions. One thing we teach third graders is not to generalize. We don’t have math books or language arts books or spelling books or reading books. There are some good things on TPT that we use our own money for. Some of it is very poor and I would let the teacher and principal know that you see errors.

This, this, this. I am provided with approximately 60% of what I truly need to run my classroom. I purchase the rest. When I run out of money, and then run out of time to proofread the TPT items I purchased (along with every other damn thing) because I'm working a second job, then it is time for parents to demand their taxes are raised in order to provide better materials. Until them, STFU.

As it is they have to find the resources and then proof read before they can use them. What a P.I.T.A

Most teachers are kind of dumb. Sorry. Not ALL teachers, but the bar to being a teacher is REALLY LOW, and it’s a profession that people go into when they aren’t really good at anything other than being patient and nice.

It is a problem with the teacher, but it's a problem with every teacher buying it. They blindly gave this person top stars. The worksheets are beautiful looking and seem so well organized until you actually read the problems. An editor would have looked past the presentation to see if the content is acceptable.

I purchased a "Find the Evidence" set of sheets for some summer work...I found so many errors I was shocked.

It is crazy to think that teachers don't get spelling materials or math textbooks let alone history and science. Parents should be demanding texts for each subject area.

How is the teacher giving too advanced work, the problem with teachers pay teachers? The problem is the teacher! She is supposed to be the editor and filter through everything

Sounds like a problem with the teacher, not the resources.

If the teacher finds spelling errors etc in worksheets then they should complain and refuse to pay for them. And then find better resources.

You dD’s teachernis probably using the free resources.

I like the concept in general; however there is no official editor. My daughter's teacher seems to purchase all her worksheets from there. They are horrendous. I find so many things with unclear wording or too advanced for grade level. It's not the same as using an edited workbook or text.
