LOL gs dings Marshall because of the "college readiness" score. They have <1% taking AP math or AP science! Not surprising since it is an IB school and offers no AP classes. It would score much higher if the IB courses were taken into account, but they are not.

Compare college acceptances / enrollment. TJ is the best high school in the Commonwealth and among the best (top 10?) in the country.


But getting accepted is hard. Doesn’t matter where you live either. FCPS busses them there. Best the OP seek a reasonable choice.


The McLean and Langley catchment areas are also two of the four that send the most kids to TJ (Oakton and Chantilly are the other two).

Depends on the kid.

Any of the top dozen high schools are just as good.
