Other proven curriculums that were not created by a former gym teacher have more rigor, depth and coverage of the subject but to stay at the level MCPS wants the labeling will not be Algebra I by eight grade.
So I interpret your post to be saying that the current curriculum is accelerated, but weak? So, a new Algebra curriculum would be more challenging/enriched by comparison?
